Vermont potter Linda Bouchard Bracken has been Linda B Pottery through two states... and a change of status on her income tax form. "Wasn't it lucky," she laughs... "I married another B!"
Originally a licensed custom house broker in Massachusetts, Linda started taking pottery classes with her friends one night a week with the girls. "It was absolutely addicting," Linda admits. One night turned into two, then three, then every weekend with her hands shaping clay into mugs, bowls, plates and vases. When she left her high powered Customs Brokerage job to become a potter, some people probably thought she was taking her hobby just a tad too seriously!
In 1993, Linda and her husband moved to a farmhouse in Vermont, spent three years refurbishing the barn which now houses her studio.
Linda's work graces homes all over the country... and has even been seen on the coffee table of "Primetime Live."
