Something new. I've been making wall art. I call them Subliminal Expressions. People seem to see something different in the same piece. These pieces are made from clay, glazes and glass. I am using the clay as my canvas, painting with my glazes (as opposed to dipping and pouring), and adding glass prior to firing. Depending on my desire the glass is added either in the bisque firing, then refired in the gas kiln, or added prior to the gas kiln firing only. NO two are alike. Truly One of a Kind pieces. What you see on this site, IS the piece you will receive! Because of the glass content, these pieces are NOT microwave, dishwasher or oven safe. They can be used, however, for serving warm or cold foods if you wish. Each piece comes with a metal hanger made specifically for this work.
